Westside triple-murder suspect bought gas in Spokane, left town

SALKUM, Wash. - A Spokane Police spokeswoman says the suspected gunman in a Saturday morning triple homicide in Lewis County passed through Spokane and stopped for gas. But Jennifer DeRuwe says officers searched the area and have no reason to believe 31-year-old John Allen Booth Jr. of Onalaska remained in Spokane.
